  Originally, I thought I finally found an alternative to the typical unfair practices of the other propane companies in the area. Setting up the “will call” account was quick, easy and I loved their “no fees” policy. I locked in at a price and all went smoothly.
  Then came time for the refill.
  They refill my tank but don’t leave a receipt or an invoice!? I check my account and see they deducted a lot more than what they should of. I contacted them immediately to find out what the problem was and this is when I lost all faith in Center State Propane.
  They informed me they made no such agreement with me and I was charged the going rate for propane which was a dollar more per gallon. I told them the reason I switched to them was because I was able to lock in at that lower rate. Their response was “I’m sorry but there is nothing we can do for you”. Great business practices.
  I know its partially my fault because I didn’t insist on having the paperwork mailed to me so I could have a copy, but I made the classic mistake of trusting a business.
  I will not do business with people like this and encourage anyone I know to avoid them at all costs.
